Each value is intended to remain attached to the exact product identifier and variation represented by the outbound link.
Unit conversions and meter positions use documented software rules rather than generative guesses or hidden editorial adjustments.
Higher, lower and preference-dependent fields receive different language. A larger value is never automatically called better.
An unavailable field receives an explicit state. It is not filled from scraping, reviews, another variant or an AI prediction.
A pair needs sufficient shared fields, meaningful differences, current data and internal context before it can become indexable.
For a numeric field, both values are placed on the same category-specific domain. A simple normalized position can be expressed as:

The exact value remains printed beside the bar. The visual does not change the underlying number and does not imply a statistical confidence level.
The prototype fit score accepts only named, comparable numeric factors. Customers assign importance from zero to ten. Each product's normalized field value is multiplied by that user-selected weight, then divided by the total active weight.
The result is labeled as a fit for selected priorities. It does not represent laboratory performance, reliability, safety, value over time or a universal product ranking.
A production comparison is intended to remain noindex until it has enough shared fields, at least a few meaningful differences, current source snapshots, valid product destinations, one canonical pair URL and useful internal links.
This approach lets the site answer direct comparison requests without asking search engines to index every mathematical product combination.
