Is the product data on this prototype from Amazon?
No. Every product name, illustration and specification value in this prototype is fictional and labeled as illustrative. This allows Amazon to review the intended experience before any live API content is used.
Will SpecMeter scrape Amazon product pages?
No. The proposed production model is designed to retrieve only permitted fields through the approved Amazon product API and to respect the applicable license, caching, display and linking requirements.
Does the larger number always win?
No. Each field is classified as higher-directional, lower-directional or preference-dependent. Size, camera resolution and many other values remain neutral unless a specific customer preference is selected.
What happens when an API field is missing?
The interface displays that the value was not supplied. It does not scrape another source, borrow a value from a related variant or ask a model to guess.
Is SpecMeter endorsed by Amazon?
No. SpecMeter is an independent product-comparison experience. The current public site is a proposal prototype and does not imply approval, sponsorship or endorsement.
